Tom Douie
Chief Executive Officer
Tom Douie is a founding partner and Chief Executive Office at PM Alpha. As well as being responsible for the overall operation and commercial development of the Firm, he is focused on expanding the community of asset, wealth and advisory organisations that participate in the PM Alpha digital community and ultimately ensuring successful fundraising for the resulting product offering.

Tom has spent the entirety of his 23 year career in asset management, raising for public & private market investments designing some of the market’s most innovative solutions for institutional and private wealth investors. Most recently he was Managing Director - Global Head of Distribution at Muzinich & Co Limited in London, a leader in public and private credit strategies, where he led the intermediary and institutional client business. Prior to this he was Managing Director – Head of Intermediary, Europe & Latam for Neuberger Berman (Europe) Ltd in London, where he successfully led the development and deployment of multiple public and private markets funds for wealth managers and distributors. During his time at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in London Tom led the global private banking client business fostering relationships with some of the world’s largest private banks for both public and private markets. He started his full-time career at Alliance Capital Management, UK raising capital amongst the UK wealth manager sector.

Alexis Weber
Chief Investment Officer
Alexis Weber is a founding partner and the Chief Investment Officer at PM Alpha. He runs the Origination & Investment Platforms, ensuring our clients and investors have access to a steady flow of top-tier private market investments, advisory & market insights.

Alexis has spent the entirety of his 18-year career in Private Equity & Private Markets. Prior to founding PM Alpha, Alexis was the Head of EMEA Private Equity Investments for Citi Private Bank where he identified and managed top-tier Funds and Co-Investments across asset classes. In his latest role, he developed, established, and launched the Private Markets platform at Saranac Partners, incorporating Funds and Co-investment programs within their client’s portfolios across disruptive technology trends such as Software, Cyber security, artificial intelligence, and Healthcare.

Previously, he developed and implemented institutional-level execution platforms across asset classes for Sovereign Wealth clients and large Asset Managers whilst working for the Boston Consulting Group and LGT Capital Partners in London. Earlier in his career, Alexis was an investor with 3i group plc deploying equity across venture, growth and mid-market transactions and was part of Credit Suisse Investment Banking team in London.
Alexis earned an MSc with a focus in International Finance from SKEMA Business School in France and a BSc Joint-Major in Finance & Accounting from Lancaster University Business School.
Melyan Guerrero
Chief Commercial Officer
Melyan is a partner and Chief Commercial Officer at PM Alpha. She is responsible for leading the commercial strategy of the firm, with a focus on growing PM Alpha’s digital community of distribution partners, as well as overseeing the end-to-end delivery of its product offering and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Melyan has over 15 years' experience in financial services and alternative investments’ product development, marketing and capital raising, having partnered with some of the largest asset managers and family offices in EMEA and the US. Most recently, she spent over a decade building innovative product solutions and driving growth initiatives for the alternative investments business at Citi Private Bank, initially at the asset class level in her role as Vice President - Hedge Fund Product Manager in New York, and for over seven years in London leading fundraising and marketing of alternatives for private wealth investors in EMEA as Senior Vice President - Investment Sales Specialist.
Melyan started her career in New York, with the financial services advisory practice of Ernst & Young, prior to joining distressed debt hedge fund manager Monarch Alternative Capital. She is passionate about sustainability and the key role that technology can play in disrupting established industries through innovative products and services.
Melyan earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NYU Stern School of Business, and a BA Hons in Finance from Manhattanville College in New York. She holds the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
Chloe Mercer
Chief Platform Officer and Head of Investment Operations
Chloe is a partner, Chief Platform Officer, and Head of Investment Operations at PM Alpha. In her dual role, she is responsible for both leading PM Alpha’s technology platform development and delivery strategy, as well as overseeing the investment operational processes and infrastructure of the firm.
Chloe has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services and alternative investments industry, across operations, operational due diligence, and technology, having worked with asset managers and family offices in EMEA, Asia and the US. Prior to joining PM Alpha, Chloe spent 3 years consulting for global entrepreneurs and startup companies across Europe and Asia, advising them on pre-launch and go-to-market strategies, financial and organisational structuring, as well as assisting them in developing new technologies. In her previous role as Operational Due Diligence Lead for Alternative Investments at Citi Private Bank in London, she spent 4 years leading reviews of investment managers’ infrastructure and documents to assess operational risk and ensure adequacy for investment by Citi’s global private wealth clients. In her role, she adopted a consultative approach with managers across hedge fund strategies, fund of funds, and private markets, to help them address operational deficiencies through process and system improvements.
Chloe started her career at Mercer Investments within Mercer Sentinel, a specialist group dedicated to providing operational risk assessments and consulting across the alternative asset industry. She is passionate about technology and implementing a streamlined digital approach to private markets. Chloe earned a BSc in Chemistry from University College London.
